The designer of this incredible Art Nouveau piece was a company called KEER & KINGSLAND, a well known jewelry designer in business from 1893 – 1915. Their first business was in Massachusetts but moved to a larger site in Newark, NJ as their success in the jewelry field increased. Common motifs featured in antique Art Nouveau jewelry were insect, plant and flower designs. Abstract designs were gradually introduced as well including circular sunburst shapes and whiplash curves. Many pieces were made with the highly sophisticated look of the Edwardian Era.
