ANTIQUE 20s/30s Art Deco Brass/Gold-filled Bangle Hinged Bracelet withPearls Sz 7

The Roaring 20s at Your Wrist! The 1920s and 1930s seemed like such a cool, free-spirited time, filled with speakeasies, flapper girls & prohibition. The style of that period was so unique, with the art deco influence of gold, brass, pearls & diamonds – so ornate & beautiful. This bracelet was definitely made during that time period, but I’m not sure whether it was the 1920s or the 1930s. This bracelet is unique, and I have not been able to locate another one like it. I found a similar one (last picture), but it doesn’t have the elaborate pattern, finials or precious stones (pearls). This is truly a remarkable piece. I imagine a very elegant & beautiful woman wearing this when it was brand new. There are 12 tiny pearls on this bracelet. I believe they are natural pearls as opposed to cultured pearls, but I just can’t tell for sure. They could be either the South Sea or Akoya variety. There are also 6 settings that previously had some type of precious stone. Or perhaps, someone wanted to put them in another piece of jewelry? Who knows, but the good part is that you can add whatever gem that you like. Also, I believe this is made of brass with a gold filling. On the inside of the bracelet, you can see some green oxidation (pictured), which is typical of brass. The clasp is very unique, and I’m really not sure what type it is, but it still works perfectly. On the opposite end, it has a hinge, which is also in excellent condition. If you’re looking for a conversation piece, this is definitely it! 1920s or 1920s art deco bracelet. 6 empty gemstone settings & 12 small natural? Estimated to be a size 7 or medium. Weighs a little shy of 2 ounces. Ornate finials & embossed design on band. Note: This antique bracelet is in excellent condition with the minor flaws noted above.
