ART DECO 14K GOLD FILIGREE, 3 DIAMOND/2 BLUE STONES BRACELET, APPRAISED at $1400

AUTHENTIC ART DECO 14k WHITE GOLD FILIGREE, 3 DIAMOND/2 BLUE STONES BRACELET. Flaunt a fabulous vintage piece on your wrist! This authentic 14k white gold bracelet is an exquisite family heirloom, owned by my grandmother, who lived in Queens, New York. She probably got it when she was married in 1923. So this piece is almost 100 YEARS OLD! Bracelet features an ornate filigree design: the striking center piece is one large diamond, flanked by two blue stones and two smaller diamonds. The bracelet is made of seven links on one side and eight links on the other side. It is seven (7) inches in length. The closure is a tongue-style box clasp with a side safety hook. My mother had special safety chain added later. According to the appraisal done by a reputable Phoenix-based jeweler. Bracelet is 9 grams in weight with three (3) diamonds and two (2) blue stones. The center diamond is a round European cut diamond, H-I-J color, VS1 to S11 clarity, 3.12 mm and approximately. On either side of that are two smaller diamonds. The two European cut diamonds are considered to be I-J-K color, S11 clarity, 2.50 mm and approximately. The total diamond weight is approximately. There are two (2) trillion cut blue stones, bezel set (NOTE: THEY ARE NOT SAPPHIRE). I will include the appraisal letter with this piece. O & B was founded in 1879 in Rhode Island. Englehart Cornelius Ostby had immigrated from Oslo, Norway to the United States. On April 14 1912, Ostby & his daughter Helene sailed from Europe on the TITANIC. Sadly, he died with 1500 other passengers, but his daughter survived. Helene continued the family business with other family members. Ostby and Barton became famous for their signet rings, pendants, bracelets, etc. For the next four decades. Please check out all pictures to see details and craftsmanship.
