Inside Circumference: 6.5. A beautiful vintage art deco Bakelite blast from the past bangle bracelet. Handed down and held since the 1980’s and known to be made many years before, an oval shaped, hinged clamper bangle in a luscious amber shade with a tortoise effect, has stood the test of time. Carved on the front section, carrying through to the top and bottom, in a pattern of swirled palm leafs with berries. The back half is left smooth, as well as the inside, where the metal hinge is seen, that holds the 2 pieces together. The bracelet will fully open up approximately 2 inches to comfortably place it on your wrist. It is unsigned and unbranded. A perfect accessory to complement an array of colors and styles! Held by one owner since the 1980’s and known to be made many years before. Rarely worn and gently stored for many years. Hinge clamper closure in good working order. No known chips or major marks. You will see from the photos where the 2 sides meet in closing, they are ever so slightly unaligned because of the thicker front, which is not noticeable in wearing, and the nature of hinging 2 bakelite pieces together.
