Hamilton Art Deco Diamond Ladies Watch – Platinum &10k Gold Filled Quartz Conv. Give your special someone the gift of time! This lovely Hamilton watch dates from the Art Deco Era circa 1920’s-1930’s, a time period that celebrated innovative designs and meticulous craftsmanship. Fashioned in platinum with a 10k white gold-filled band, this timepiece features high quality natural diamonds. The watch case is oval in shape and encloses a rectangular clock face. Black numbers mark the hours and minutes, and a black hand mechanism is mounted under the word Hamilton on a textured antique gold background. Two marquise cut diamonds crown the ends of the case, while single cut diamonds border the sides and outline the loops of a figure eight design leading to the band. Altogether, the diamonds carry. 52 carat total weight, the desired VS1 – VS2 clarity, and G – H color. The watch band is a looped cord formed from woven gold-filled strands leading to a fold-over clasp. A guard chain connects to both ends of the clasp for extra security. Please note that the original watch movement has been converted to a quartz movement. This vintage watch is sure to become a treasured family heirloom. This watch weighs 13.1 grams. The band measures 3/16″ (4.6mm) wide, and the interior of the band measures 5 1/2″ in closed circumference. The face is 9/16 (14mm) wide (not including the crown).
