Rare Art Deco Geometric Enamel Sterling Silver Bracelet PURDUE UNIVERSITY
This rare Art Deco Purdue University bracelet dates from 1930 to early 30s. The combination of geometric shapes and contrast of navy blue and white enamel makes this bracelet quite striking. The center link has an embossed silver emblem that says “PURDUE UNIVERSITY” and “SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY AGRICULTURE, ” around the outer circle. The bracelet closes with a wide hook on the inside, which is completely hidden, showing no evidence of a clasp on the outside. Approximate measurements: 6 7/8″–linear measurement, taking into consideration the slight curve of each link, length (or measurement around) is probably closer to 7″; 1/2 wide.
