Handmade during the Art Deco era. The chain is composed of 12k yellow gold filled over a base metal and made by American jewelry company Winard. The charms are composed of 10k yellow gold filled over a base metal. Three of the charms were made by American jewelry company OC Tanner Co. One of the charms was made by American jewelry company L. The first charm is a large circle with swirl designs in the center. The second charm is shaped into a triangle with the words “Telephone Pioneers of America” and “Life Member Representative” emblazoned on the front in white and gray enamel. The third charm is shaped into a triangle with the words “Telephone Pioneers of America” on the front in white enamel. The fourth charm is shaped into a circle with a bell and the letter symbol for “Telephone Pioneers of America”. The fifth charm is shaped into a circle with “San Francisco Bay Naval Shipyard” on the front in blue enamel and the word “Retired” in the center with a banner and horse motif. The sixth charm is the same as the fourth. The last charm is shaped into a triangle with the words “Telephone Pioneers of America” and Life Member Club Sec. Treas on the front in white and red enamel. The charms are strung on a parallel chain. Complete with a box clasp for secure wear. Damage: Age appropriate wear. There is some wear to the gold fill and the base metal is showing in several areas. The first charm is slightly bent out of shape and appears to have something missing off of the front.
